Our client is looking for a Trading Systems Software Engineer who will act as a liaison between traders and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Understand dependencies for strategy implementation and proposing solutions
• Assist in sourcing of data needs, integration with execution platform and algorithm frameworks
• Collaborate closely with quant researchers and peers to ensure global consistency
• Implementation of tactical solutions
• Being functional expert and defining strategic requirements for technology team

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience with software development in C/C++ & Linux
• Experience working within an electronic trading environment
• Ability to automate trading, order management, exchange connectivity or market data handling for Equities, FX or fixed income products
• Understanding of distributed system design
• Python, Kdb+/Q, SQL and scripting experience
• Experience in large-scale systems
• Relevant degree in Physics, quantitative Finance, computer science or related discipline
