We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Associate to support the consumer-facing events within our LeftField Media business. This person should be very well organized, self-motivated and focused on driving business for comic con and anime con events throughout the year. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment who enjoys working with a team to close business quickly. This is an individual contributor role and will have no direct reports.

How you’ll make an impact:
- Work closely and collaborate with the sales team to generate revenue selling booth space and sponsorships by phone, face-to-face and other channels
- Attend related and appropriate competitive comic con and anime events with the goal of generating leads, establishing contacts and supporting existing customers for the sales team
- Weekly reporting on sales results, plans and activities
- Help meet or exceed established weekly team revenue targets
- Document outreach to prospects using Salesforce (our customer relationship management tool) in a timely manner – whether it be calls or sales demonstrations of the product
- Daily support to existing sales team, to include answering questions and providing information to existing vendors
- Continuously developing market and product knowledge to assist with business development
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
The skills and experience you’ll need:
- 2+ years sales experience
- Very well organized
- Proficient at microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Willingness to travel
- Customer focused
- Demonstrate ability to take ownership of tasks and to problem-solve quickly
