The firm is growing and it is time to add an Associate Trademark Attorney to contribute to our trademark prosecution and trademark trial and appeal board practice group.

What we need from you
This attorney would be responsible for day to day oversight of a trademark prosecution docket, client meetings, and trademark law related deliverables under the supervision of the firm's managing partner.
Representative assignments include:
- Meeting with prospective trademark clients to discuss their options
- Preparing and filing trademark applications
- Preparing and filing responses to office actions
- Preparing and filing allegations of use
- Preparing and filing all required maintenance documents
- Trademark law related research and drafting to support trademark trial and appeal board proceedings, as well as state and federal court trademark related causes of action.
We will not consider applicants that do not have at least 5 years of trademark prosecution experience.
The trademark practice group is supported by a dedicated trademark paralegal and legal assistant and other support staff as necessary.
A representative writing sample of a response to a substantive office action should be provided along with a resume.
Logistics
- 1099-NEC Independent Contractor
- 20-30 hours per week (on average)
- 90 Day Probationary Period
- $100 to $130 an hour DOE
