Tow Truck Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a Tow Truck to transport vehicles from breakdown locations, accident scenes, or impound lots
- Safely load and secure vehicles onto the Tow Truck using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and towing vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and minor repairs, such as changing tires or jump-starting batteries
- Maintain accurate records of each tow, including vehicle information, location, and any additional services provided
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required
- Previous experience operating a Tow Truck or similar commercial vehicle is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive repair and basic mechanical skills
- Familiarity with using a forklift to load and unload vehicles is a plus
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
