A Total Rewards Managerposition is available at Garney Construction in North Kansas City, MO. As the Total Rewards Manager you will work with Operations, Human Resources Business Partners, and Business Leaders in the delivery of Garney Rewards Programs that serve to attract, motivate, retain, and reward top talent. You will also create and oversee the development and execution of Garney Reward Programs, metrics, tools, and strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Maintaining and aligning the Garney Rewards programs:
- Health Insurance Programs
- Compensation and Incentive Programs
- Profit-sharing and Retirement Plans
- Recommending and developing Total rewards programs, policies, and practices that are market-competitive, and serve to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current regional and national legislation.
- Effectively collaborate and coordinate with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
- Supporting the Human Resources team with recruitment and talent retention activities.
- Develop and recommend changes to and improvements in compensation and incentive programs and infrastructure, to include pay grades and criteria for income advancement.
- Researching market trends to evaluate the competitiveness of all Garney Rewards
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Ability to effectively implement Total Rewards strategies to support business goals.
- In-depth knowledge of Total Rewards practices, processes, and solutions and the ability to provide coaching and guidance.
- Strong project management, organizing, and planning skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Communications, or a related field
- Advanced study/training/certifications, such as CEBS or SHRM
- 10+ years of progressive-related experience
- Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Must be willing to travel.
