Job Description
Perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, attachments, mold gauges, etc. of complicated design and purpose to close tolerances and finish requirements.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:
• Able to read/write in English
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must possess basic math skills
• 5 plus years in the same trade; building shop aids, fixtures, tools and gages per sketches and blueprints
The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:
• Certificate in machine shop trade school a plus
• Must pass applicable Tool Maker test
The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:
• Passing grade on CNC Machine Operator Test
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to use hand held measuring tools
• Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team

Job Description
Perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, attachments, mold gauges, etc. of complicated design and purpose to close tolerances and finish requirements.

- Manufacture and repair of production tooling, fixturing, and gages.
- Manual turning, milling, drilling, pressing, tapping, grinding, etc...
- Inspection and measurements of machined parts
- Bench work and assembly
- Heat treatments, sawing, hot forming and sand blasting
- Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities
- Maintain department safety and housekeeping standards
- Ensure compliance with Quality Control Manual (QCM)
- Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties
- Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
- Regular and reliable attendance
