Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking Tooling Interns to join our teams this upcoming Summer 2024 in locations across the United States! Phillips-Medisize is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries.

Koch Industries has been consistently selected as one of the top 100 Internship Programs in the U.S by WayUp. The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2024.

As a Tooling Intern you will work with our maintenance team on projects to improve efficiency and up time while learning new skills that will prepare you for future roles. When considering and selecting location preferences, candidates should consider those facilities in which they're willing to work for the duration of their time as an intern, in addition to where they'd be interested in receiving a full-time offer from, should they perform well.

For this role, we anticipate paying $21- $23 per hour

Some examples of responsibilities or projects include:

  • Active team member involved in designing and fabricating thermo injection molding equipment, robotics, EOATs, automated work cells, and assembly equipment for both internal and external projects
  • Master the intricacies of mold operation, including tasks such as cleaning ejector pins and disassembling molds weighing up to 17,000 pounds
  • Lead technical representative for AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) processes related to equipment and tools used in thermo injection molding and secondary operations
  • Enhance proficiency in CAD and CAM programming

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Enrolled in a technical degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2025
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
