Tooling Detailer

Essential Functions

1. Prep-work
2. Sanding, cutting, grinding and other metral work preparation.
3. Using hand tools such as, pneumatic cutting tools, die grinders, side grinders, cordless drills and other miscellaneous tools.
4. Using power equipment such as, band saw, drill press, sanding wheel, bench grinder, metal shear and other equipment.
5. Assist Tooling Technician
6. Assist and perform duties as assigned by Tooling Manager.
7. Use of calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements
8. Data entry into CMMS.
9. Tooling and sheilding review.
10. Inventory Counts
11. Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, requiring 8 hours of work per day Monday thru Friday, some overtime as business needs change. Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends, if necessary.

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Detail-oriented
3. Must be able to plan, prioritize and perform work in an efficient manner to meet schedules
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
