Who are we looking for?
At our Madison, AL plant we proudly manufacture pipe and fittings for Fire Suppression Systems that are trusted and installed in buildings worldwide. We employ a diverse group of people, working together to achieve high standards in quality and safety.
We are looking for an energetic Tool Crib Coordinator to contribute to our goals by continual control and increasing efficiency of all ordering, stocking, tracking, etc. of maintenance and/or machining inventory. They will also provide general assistance by updating and maintaining the PM system on an ongoing basis, reporting capabilities on various KPIs, contributing to JCMS compliance, and performing light packing and shipping for Maintenance and our machine shop. Our ideal candidate possesses a "can-do" outlook, enjoys problem-solving and learning, helping others in a team environment, and working on a variety of tasks. They should possess the following qualifications:
Required:

  • High school diploma or GED supplemented by 2+ years' related experience
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving, and demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience resolving discrepancies by investigating and following up with customers and vendors.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and enter information into spreadsheets, databases, and specialized MMS systems in daily activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through with assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards, and dedication to reporting and correcting all issues.
  • Dedication to maintaining a respectful workplace environment.

Desired:
  • Two-year degree in related field +1 years' experience, or 3 years of directly related experience working in a maintenance or machining tool crib.
