Tool Room Attendant

As a Tool Room/Warehouse Attendant, you are responsible for assisting with the maintenance and storage of the Company’s tools, warehouse equipment, and materials.

Starting pay of $20/hour

Shift: 6AM – 2PM (Monday – Friday)

Your responsibilities include:

• Inventory
• Monitor tool possession and use through the tool management program.
• Small tool assembly and repair.
• Keep materials organized and accessible.
• Tool Delivery/Charges
• Coordinate tool delivery or transfer with material/equipment devices.
• Maintaining the system of charging tool rental to GMP projects.
• Shipping/Receiving
• Assist with the receipt of materials, tools equipment, and supplies; unpacking, examining, and routing incoming shipments.
• Returning damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Truck Activity
• Loading and unloading of all work vehicles.
• Periodically take truck material and tool inventories.
• Small truck deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

You will bring to the position:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years in a warehouse environment/machine shop/fabrication shop required.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities in an industrial, construction site, and general outdoor environment around heavy machinery and equipment.
• Ability to make commitments and be willing to be held accountable against them.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and service.
