Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology or related field.
- Experience with design software such as SmartPlant, AutoCAD, Microstation, Inventor, or Solidworks, Autodesk Revit / BIM
- 1-5 years minimum of piping design experience
- Experience working with facility plumbing and process engineering drawings.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in semiconductor Tool Install, semiconductor, cleanroom, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of project schedules for pre-facilitation, understanding of sequence of construction activities and tool sequence
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on behalf of the engineer of record and design team on specified Tool Installation scopes of work at a Semiconductor project site.
- Strong experience working with engineering design software / BIM (Revit, CAD) required
- Work closely with senior staff to deliver all aspects of process and plumbing projects
- Layout and sizing of plumbing and process equipment / systems
- Coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines.
- Generate, coordinate, update, and maintain project mechanical design drawings leveraging BIM
- Colocate at client sites to obtain relevant information.
- Interact with equipment vendors to coordinate design work
