Starting pay: $25.00+, competitive based on experience

JOB SUMMARY:
The Tool & Equipment Supervisor will be responsible for issuing, tracking, purchasing and maintaining all company issued tools, vehicles, equipment and trailers to support an effective and efficient field staff. The role will include a variety of duties including all aspects of forecasting, quoting, purchasing, issuance, tracking and delivery of tools. The supervisor will also be responsible for accurate use of multiple software programs the company utilizes to track asset allocation. Position will also support efficient warehouse operation by receiving and organizing deliveries.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The role is responsible for all aspects of company tooling including check-in/outs in software, purchasing, forecasting, inspections, repairs, quotes, invoice approval, logistics and delivery.
  • Establishes and/or adjusts department work procedures to meet demands as needed by job schedules and workflow.
  • Maintain and organize tool crib for ease of use and quick response time to field requests. Maintain inventory of standard tool replacement parts.
  • Provide day-to-day direction on Shaw Electric's fleet of vehicles, trailers and equipment.
  • Responsibilities with vehicles, trailers and equipment include but are not limited to scheduling regular maintenance and inspections, coordinating registration renewals and repairs, installation of GPS modules and GPS software management, vehicle badging etc.
  • Collaborate with management to implement procedures necessary to maintain a high level of service to field personnel, and to ensure efficient operations. Duties may include receiving shipments, greeting warehouse customers, answering phones, scheduling delivery appointments, and facilitating communication between clients and other team members.
  • Ability to deal tactfully, and as required, explain operations of company products and/or services to contractors, field personnel, or customers while positively promoting company
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to building and ground maintenance, and cleaning of the warehouse facilities to maintain a high appearance level.
  • Keep the warehouse facility in a safe, clean, and orderly condition, ensuring compliance with all company and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Assist shop supervisor with non-tool or equipment related tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - High School Diploma or GED required
Licenses - Valid Driver's License required, Class A CDL with air brake endorsement preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Adept Computer Skills, Strong communication and organization skills, detail oriented. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
Electrical tool knowledge including: Power ponies, band saws, multi meters, hammer drills, Greenlee power benders, macho drills, etc.
