Responsibilities of the Position Include:
- Receive, store, and issue weld wire and supplies maintained in the Tool Crib (weld wire Crib).
- Electronically record issuing of weld wire and rods. Manual record if contingency is necessary.
- Validate the inventory supply of the Tool Crib using both visual inspections, ERP system, and Microsoft Office to maintain minimum/maximum quantities of stock supplies. Work with purchasing by providing shop requisitions to replenish supplies.
- Track the order status of the supplies with purchasing as required.
- Work under direct supervision with MP&L / Tool Crib team to perform all job responsibilities / duties.
- Interface with the MP&L personnel as required to assist with inventory related tasks and issues.
- Review the inventory supply needs and suggest changes to stock items as required.
- Visually inspect equipment and weld wire for obvious defects, segregate, and report to superiors.
- Support the MP&L as required.
- Work well and interact with all levels of company personnel on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have High School Diploma/GED
- Detail oriented
- Microsoft Office experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
