Our client is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Tool & Die Repair Technician. Our client is a large family oriented company that is focused on manufacturing different component parts while also handling welding, assembly, metal spinning. They have cut cost for numerous customers that has put the company on a growth track for several decades.
The Tool & Die Repair Technician will be responsible for supporting the tooling department and production department by machining parts to repair metal stamping dies and tooling.
Successful candidates will have 5+ years of Tool and Die Repair experience.
Job Requirements:

• High school or GED required
• 5-10 years experience
• Prior experience in Manufacturing
• Experience with operations of different machinery including lathes, mills, grinders.
• Own your own tools, Steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.

Some Job Responsibilities/duties:

• Knowledge of stamping dies, die timing, pad travels, stripper and binder pad travels/pressures and timing.
• Study and interpret blueprints
• May need to troubleshoot and repair production dies and tools
• Operate machinery
• Tig Welding Knowledge (preferred)
• Disassemble dies to perform maintenance, sharpen, and check clearances
• Great communication, teamwork ability, and work alongside supervisors and fellow employees
• Perform other duties as necessary

Physical Demands:

• Frequent bending, stretching, and prolonged standing
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. continuously throughout the shift
