Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage TMS equipment, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-treatment assessments, including patient setup and comfort measures.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment parameters as necessary under clinical supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of TMS machinery to guarantee operational efficacy.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to integrate TMS therapy into broader treatment plans, offering technical insights and support.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, documenting therapy sessions and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about TMS therapy, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and clarity.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to TMS technology and psychiatric care.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in a related field (e.g., biomedical technology, medical assisting) preferred.
- Previous experience in a technical role, with a strong preference for backgrounds in medical or psychiatric settings.
- Familiarity with TMS equipment and protocols is advantageous, but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and technical proficiency.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and delivering the highest standard of care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
