TLC Paraprofessional (Abington Early Education Program)

The Abington Early Education Program is seeking to hire a paraprofessional for its TLC classroom. The paraprofessional works at the direction of the classroom TLC Teacher (who is a licensed Special Educator). The paraprofessional works individually or with small groups to help students learn academic material. The students in the TLC classrooms have significant disabilities and require content to be modified so that they can access the material. The paraprofessional should be prepared to redirect students' attention and manage interfering behaviors. Preference will go to applicants that have experience with behavior management. This position is full time at the Abington Early Education Program. The paraprofessional will be oriented and supported by Special Education Staff at the Abington Early Education Program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
