About The Job:

As a Titles and Transfers Specialist at TICF, Inc. you will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment overseeing multiple processes on a day-to-day basis. The Titles & Transfers Specialist plays a key role in the captive finance lease and loan process. Financed vehicles, commercial trucks and equipment are a large portion of the asset portfolio for TICF. A title gives TICF legal right to a vehicle/commercial truck/equipment until it’s paid-in-full and our lien is released. The finance options are dependent upon our debt being “secured”. Our collateral is the vehicle/commercial truck/equipment, and the title secures that collateral.

It is imperative that TICF has accurate data in its system of record, holds valid lienholder and/or Registered Owner status to secure assets. Unsecured assets can lead to great financial loss for the organization in the form of financial charge-offs.

Being the front line of contact for dealers, customers, insurance companies, States/DMVs, toll agencies, and municipal agencies, the Titles & Transfer Specialist must represent TICF in a positive, professional manner by exhibiting best in-class knowledge of various State Laws and Regulations, internal Policies and Procedures, Lien Placement processes, Transfers and Contract Funding processes, UCC Filing/Closing processes, Repo Title, and Tracking processes. The Titles & Transfers Specialist must exhibit the ability to develop effective solutions to problems based on subject matter expertise and research of areas within and beyond own area of responsibility and exemplify both written and verbal communication skills
.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ability to function independently within a multi-task environment while mastering a variety of tasks and functions
  • Enhance organization reputation by displaying positive verbal and written communications to customer, ultimately positively impacting Customer Experience
  • Research complex issues and provide recommendations to leadership for resolution including title issues
  • Monitor the aging of Missing Titles and Active Transfer Requests
  • Collaborate within and across teams and departments to analyze and resolve Customer issues
  • Utilize SAP/CRM and ERP to execute transfers and Name Changes on system and ensure system flow updates

Qualifications You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification. College Degree Preferred.
  • At least 1 year of Titles and Transfers experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn at a fast pace with the potential of promotion within company or department within 12-18month time frame.
  • At least 2-3 years of Consumer or Commercial Finance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
  • Will consider less job experience with completed bachelor’s degree in business

Great to Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business Major

Our Core Performance Competencies
  • Customer First
  • One TICF
  • Mindset of Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrate Inclusive Behaviors
  • Learn, Grow, Develop
