We are seeking an experienced Recording Officer to join our team. As a Recording Officer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the process of document preparation, review and recording for our organization. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and industry document expertise. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for process improvement and operations management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Becoming a part of the team that handles the document recordation process for our organization
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient and effective recording operations
- Assisting real estate professional with drafting deeds and support documents relevant to their transaction.
- Collaborate with co-workers to identify potential recording issues and develop solutions
- Review legal documents with external parties
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recording requirements of various counties.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for process improvement
Experience:
- Proven experience in New York Title Insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of documents used in the real estate transaction and procedures for recording same.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with external parties
- Experience in process improvement and operations management
- Ability to work with a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
