- Support students individually or in small groups with understanding content by helping them develop the skills necessary for learning mathematics: providing subject-area knowledge and mentoring students on the strategies, techniques, and attitudes needed for successful mastery of the material
- Plan and provide reading and math targeted, small group instruction as part of a RTI (Response to Intervention) mode.
- Progress-monitor student response to instruction using reading records, STAR, and other assessment measures
- Collaborate with a variety of parties (e.g. other tutors, instructional staff, other school personnel, parents) for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions; achieving established program objectives and/or and planning curriculum
- Maintain accurate and updated data files and student records, as well as participate in Title I program evaluation
- Teaching experience preferred
