Location: Wenatchee, WA

Hourly Range: $17.93 – $23.65 Hourly DOE

Incentive bonus based on Company profitability.

  • Compensation Range: $17.93 - $23.65 hourly (depending on experience and qualifications). With tenure and strong performance an employee may earn up to a maximum of $27.40 per hour.

Job Summary:


Our Title Examiner is responsible to provide accurate and professional title commitments, maintain high level of productivity and products, assess risk and liabilities in accordance with policy provisions, and provide title opinions based on the facts and documentation. They work cohesively with the Title Department team to create an amazing customer experience for all title transactions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create an amazing customer experience through the delivery of accurate, timely and professional title commitments.
  • Conduct a full search of public records for various transaction types following company procedures based on prior title evidence, specific title products and property history.
  • Research respective title plant software, analyze and evaluate pertinent record documents for determination of ownership and legal descriptions.
  • Reads and plots legal descriptions identifying issues relating to boundary adjustments, boundary disputes and encroachments.
  • Examine title orders within company guidelines to determine the conditions of the title and insurability by considering the effect of documents such as deeds, deeds of trust, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, assessments, probates, and other matters of record
  • Assess risks and liabilities that may jeopardize the company, and bring these matters to the attention of the title officer or title manager, as appropriate
  • Prepares initial title commitment based on the application of procedural guidelines
  • Reviews reports for accuracy
  • Explain chain of title, exceptions, and requirements to title officer as necessary
  • Maintain proper production levels and delivery standards daily
  • Performs any other duties delegated by management
  • Maintains utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

Required Qualifications:


  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of professional customer service experience and demonstrates competency and understanding of general office procedures.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • One year of title examining experience and demonstrates competency and basic understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of the title industry.

Knowledge and Responsibilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, web navigation and specialized title software.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the title industry
  • Have basic understanding of the effect on title of the various different recorded documents, such as deeds, deeds of trust, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, assessments, probates
