Job Responsibilities
· Oversee the day to day non-legal operations of curative, processing, and provide closing and post-closing support functions for a national firm, focusing on quality work product and production requirements
· Closely participate in all performance decisions to ensure proper resource management
· Analyzes pipelines and build workflows to ensure timely completion of daily processes
· Works with clients to develop successful business relationships
· Set goals for each team/team member pursuant to client and internal expectations
· Monitor performance of team members providing guidance where necessary; holding team accountable
· Coordinate staff absences and overtime to ensure coverage for all clients at all times
· Lead participant in interviews, hiring and counseling of employees
· Comply with all company standards and requirements
· Promote employee growth within the firm
· Problem solve title issues and closing issues to meet and exceed closing deadlines while multitasking without sacrificing job quality
· Learn tasks, identify process improvements and conduct performance audits
· Clearly define processes and requirements and effectively and thoroughly communicate same to staff
· Attend and participate in required supervisor and peer meetings
· Facilitate and govern weekly staff meetings providing clear objectives and productivity goals
· Additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
· Four-year degree, specialized training, or relevant experience strongly preferred
· 3 to 5 years of operational management experience in the title insurance industry
· 3 to 5 years in a Title Exam or National Curative oriented role
· Excellent workflow, production and portfolio analysis skills
· Proficient computer skills. Softpro experience preferred
· Specialized knowledge in one or more escrow product areas
· Excellent management and leadership skills, including mentoring and training staff
· Must work well under pressure, enjoy a collaborative work environment and be extremely organized
· Must possess the ability to implement directives independently
· Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, customer service oriented
· Ability to manage staff both on site and remotely
