Title And Escrow Officer

Job Summary:

The Escrow Officer position at Title Company of the Rockies is a full-time opportunity offering a rewarding career with an amazing team! Previous title experience is recommended but not required. Other beneficial experience in real estate or lending transactions is advantageous, however, we are open to training the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills and commitment. This role involves active participation in all aspects of title insurance and the closing & escrow process for refinance and residential real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

_ Transaction Process_

• Collaborate with all parties to a transaction to create a smooth closing. Including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, 1031 exchange company, etc.
• Manage each file from start to finish.
• Reading and understanding a title commitment.
• Creating closing documents and signing all parties.
• Good understanding of accounting

Technical Proficiency

• Efficiently navigate and utilize Windows-based computer products with proficient typing skills
• Quickly learn and adapt to industry-specific software to enhance workflow.

Organization and Prioritization

• Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines associated with real estate transactions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to details and timelines to ensure accuracy.

Customer Service and Communication

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers throughout the transaction process both in-person, written and over the phone.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and confidence in interactions with both internal and external parties with a positive attitude.
• Build relationships with local clients (lenders & real estate agents)

Working Hours:

8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday
