Tire Technician

The Tire Technician will be responsible for repairing, replacing, and maintaining tires for a fleet of heavy haul trucks, trailers, and equipment. This position requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Mounting and dismounting tires on heavy haul trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Examining tires and associated parts for defects and damage
• Safe use of tire mounting tools and equipment
• Assist with maintaining inventory of tires and equipment
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment
• Ensure that work areas are clean and organized and that equipment is properly maintained
• Other duties as necessary

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work safely at a fast pace and under pressure to maintain flow of business
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move tires and equipment
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 75 pounds

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Mechanical knowledge
• Related experience and execution of similar duties is preferred, but not required
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, tires, and heavy haul trucks and trailers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 – 60 per week
