Tile Setter/Tile Setter Helper

Grazzini Brothers & Company is a 100+ year old Construction Specialty Contractor working nationwide, specializing in commercial/industrial Ceramic Tile, Terrazzo, Granite, Marble, Carpet and Soft Flooring installation coast to coast.

We are looking for experienced Tile Setters/Helpers for projects throughout Iowa.

Must have previous tile experience and your own tools.

Pay commensurate with experience. Reliable transportation is a must. Please send resume.

Duties
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure tiles in place
- Align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, and straightedges
- Apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout using sponges or other tools
- Install tile edging and trim to create a finished look
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in tile installation

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Knowledge of different tile materials, patterns, and installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in tile placement
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
