About the Team
TikTok search is a global team which aims to provide access to the world's information and creative content with a simple click. To our search engine, evaluation is important as it helps assess the quality of search results, thereby improving users' search experience. As a search evaluation PM, you will be responsbile to provide independent, objective, and accurate evaluation viewpoints by defining what's the best experience for our users and implementing a global evaluation plan. Your insights combined with various evaluation and research data will help the entire product development team continuously understand users' needs and optimize the product. Daily work of the team covers user research, data analysis, project management and other related areas. We'd be delighted to have you join us if you are interested.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for improving the quality of search results and search effects of international video products, and formulating relevant evaluation and research plans for different product functions, content, and strategies;
2. Expert at project management, collaborate with the international operations team to facilitate globally the implementation of the research and evaluation plans, especially ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the deliverables.
3. Based on the evaluation results, user research and data, analyze user needs and identify product gaps, so as to provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams on the product's future iterations.
Qualifications
Qualifications
1. Have profound knowledge of search products and search engines, and understand basic research and evaluation methodologies. Having prior experience with search products is a plus;
2. Be capable of independently developing project plans, overseeing the execution of the local team, and performing risk management to minimize project risks. Ensure resource availability and allocation to deliver every project on time within scope. PMP certification is a plus;
3. Possess strong logical thinking, deep user empathy and acumen in data analysis;
4. Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills and solid organizational skills, including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $144000 - $297480 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
