TIG Welder

Job description

Quality Manufacturing a growing metal fabrication company located in Urbandale and Des Moines, IA. is looking to hire skilled and experienced TIG welders for first shift (5:00am-3:30pm). Welders read prints and work with fixtures to fabricate parts to our customers' specifications. Welders must be a dependable self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be a safety-conscious worker.

Welder Requirements

· Previous TIG welding experience in a production environment

· Must be able to read and understand weld callouts

· Knowledge of blueprint reading is strongly preferred

· Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment

Welder Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

· Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand frequently

Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
