You are:
A Cyber Security professional and enthusiast, who is seeking opportunities to evolve his/her craft by understanding latest cyber threats and help clients identify intrusion in their respective environments. In order to effectively do this, you leverage cutting edge Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) data analytics, as well as network/endpoint detection and response technologies for investigating any malicious activity in customer's on-prem and cloud environments.
The Work:
- Provide Tier 1 support through the review of Network Operations Center (NOC) events/alerts, network traffic data collection, device activity logs, and cloud application event logs from multiple client environments.
- Perform monitoring, identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of events and detect service degradation or interruption through analysis, investigation, and prioritization of events based on criticality.
- Provide clear and concise summary of investigation findings to Shift Lead and client.
- Utilize Splunk ITSI and Splunk SOAR to document resolution steps for review by Tier 3 analysts and client.
- Apply foundational network and systems knowledge to troubleshoot and investigate alerts for potential service interruption or degradation.
Here's what you need:
- Hands on experience triaging security alerts, events, logs and artifacts
- Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $90,700 - $170,200
Colorado: $90,700 - $147,100
New York: $83,900 - $170,200
Washington State: $96,600 – $156,600
