Job Title: Ticket Seller
Department: Ticket Star
Reports to: Box Office Supervisor
Supervises Others: No
DOL Status: Part-Time
Exemption Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt

General Summary:
Responsible for providing guests with a positive initial experience when purchasing and processing tickets sales. Assists guests with accurate event information and responds to questions concerning ticket prices, ticket fees, schedules, reservations, coming attractions and ticket policies.

Job Duties:

· Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.

· Responsible for staying current on Company multi-venue and multi-event schedules.

· Creates an exceptional experience for all guests through a safe, clean, and friendly environment.

· Accurately records and verifies customer data within the ticketing system.

· Accurately operates the computerized ticketing system to sell tickets for facility events.

· Processes ticket sales at the box office, including processing cash and credit cards with accuracy and attention to detail.

· Serves as a resource to guests regarding the facility and events.

· Greets guests and answers their questions by providing information about events, ticket prices, ticket policies and special performance information.

· Reconciles money received and balances monies at the end of shift with supervisor.

· Assists with facility evacuation procedures as needed.

· Assists with miscellaneous box office projects as directed.

· Must be able to take direction from supervisors and assist coworkers in a team environment.

· Responsible for following, observing, and participating in all Company related safety programs, procedures, and training, as well as reporting potentially unsafe procedures or situations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

· Requires a level of general education normally acquired in high school to interact in a professional manner with guests and employees.

· Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate positively with guests to establish their needs efficiently and courteously.

· Previous experience with computer systems, customer service and/or retail experience preferred.

· Analytical ability necessary to determine the appropriate course of action when resolving customer concerns, pressures, and negative situations.

· Previous experience in cash handling and financial transactions preferred.

· Maintains a neat and clean appearance and displays eye contact and positive facial expressions to ensure a high level of approachability to guests.

· Knowledge, interest, and passion for events, ticketing operations and providing exceptional customer service.

· Ability to work with a flexible schedule which will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.

· Must be able to work a minimum of 3 to 4 times per month during peak event season.

Other Expectations:

· Requires manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard, calculator, copy machine, and other business equipment.

· Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read numbers, reports, and computer screens.

· Requires hearing within normal range for customer service and telephone use.

· Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time (majority of the shift).

· Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours, as dictated by schedule of events.

· Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.

· Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions.

· Must have a long attention span to listen to people and bring issues to a successful conclusion.

· Must be able to handle stressful situations when long lines occur while selling tickets.

· Some exposure to excessive noise and crowd control issues.
