Third Party Debt Collectors Needed

McNeil & Meyers is seeking goal-oriented and energetic collections representatives to join our team in Metairie, LA. As a collections representative with you will perform collections on a specific portfolio of accounts that are past due under the general supervision of a collections supervisor. Our accounts come directly from the creditors, we do not work second or Third Party accounts unless we purchase them. We have charge off accounts along with performing accounts from our clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Collections Representative with McNeil & Meyers, you will carefully adhere to policies, procedures and laws related to consumer collections.

Additional responsibilities of the collections representative include:

• Contacting past due accounts via phone, email and text.
• Working 100-150 accounts per day.
• Maintaining accurate collection notes on past due accounts.
• Able to follow up on promises, and post dates.
• Communicating professionally with consumers.
• Completing other tasks as assigned.
• Ability to skip trace and locate debtors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

As a collections representative with McNeil & Meyers, you must possess excellent negotiation, telephone communication skills and an inner drive to succeed.

Additional requirements for the collections representative include:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced quota-driven work environment.
• Ability to work a 40-hour per week, rotating shift between the following hours.
• Computer Literate is a must.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Required Experience:

• 3rd Party Collections: 3 years minimum

Required Education:

• High school or equivalent

As a Collections Representative with McNeil & Meyers, you can expect a base compensation along with a generous commission percentage after meeting your collection goals. We can discuss that with you at time of interview.
