Minimum of master’s degree in counseling, education, mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or related field. Licensed in the state of FL. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred . This position requires a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with population ages 4 and above.
Candidate is required to have sufficient knowledgeable in family systems therapy and application, CBT, behavior modification, substance abuse/co-occurring, cultural sensitivity, DSM IV, and crisis intervention. Successful candidate should possess good communication and writing skills and can work within a multidisciplinary team approach. Successful candidate will need to be resourceful and adaptable as a therapist, have knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) is a plus, but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
- Working with ADULT & YOUTH Clients on a Daily Basis.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are required, as well as the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
- To maintain client confidentiality, uphold HIPAA regulations, and to be sensitive to the unique needs of each client
- To supervise, participate in, and administer therapeutic activities with clients
- Provides culturally sensitive services to diverse groups including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Will receive supervision and direction from Clinical Supervisor.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to target individualized treatment plans.
- Complying with all necessary documentation/reports; written as indicated by Clinical Department
- Attends required training to facilitate professional development.
- Provides attendance log to Site Manager daily.
- Maintains documentation and logs as needed.
- Works effectively with culturally diverse groups and individuals experiencing functional deficits, educational, interpersonal, and behavioral health barriers associated with client’s behavior.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
