CHILDREN’S ADVOCACY CENTER: (CAC) announces an opening for a Therapist. Interested applicants must submit their resume and cover letter via email only by the posted deadline.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Do you have a passion for working with children? Joining a team, a strong team, and an established agency? The CAC is looking for an experienced therapist who can provide trauma-focused therapy to kids who have experienced child sexual abuse.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT POSITION AND THE CAC CULTURE
• This is a full-time, exempt position, working 40 hours per week.
• The CAC believes in work-life balance. We are committed to aligning the workload with the true hours worked.
• When a person is hired in their first year, they get 17 days of Paid Time Off and 15 days of paid holidays.
• After three months, employees are eligible for the following:
o Medical, dental and vision insurance, with the CAC covering 90% of the costs of the insurance package.
o Life insurance and short-term disability insurance, with CAC covering 100% of the costs.

• There is also a retirement plan with match available to employees after three years of employment.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
· LCSW or license-eligibility in a related field and a minimum of two years of clinical practice with children and families.
o The CAC can provide free supervision if you are on the license track!
· Specialty training or experience within the child abuse field is preferred, this includes TFCBT and EMDR training.
· Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
All successful candidates must demonstrate an ability to work with families who have experienced trauma; be detail-oriented and organized; possess exceptional interpersonal skills; work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, and be computer/technology proficient.
