Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Therapist/Clinician provides in person intensive treatment services to families including but not limited to: crisis intervention, parent guidance and education, advocacy and linkages to other services in neighborhood schools and communities. This individual will identify strengths and challenges of the adolescent, the family, and their transactions with extra familial systems. In addition, the Therapist will emphasize promoting behavior change in the youth’s natural environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related behavioral science
- Receipt of provisional license (LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A)
- Skilled in therapeutic interventions, advocacy, and crisis intervention
- Ability to function independently
- Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
- Communication Proficiency
- Collaboration Skills
