Our school in Philadelphia is currently seeking qualified and compassionate Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) to join our dynamic team. As a TSS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social-emotional and behavioral needs of students and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support: Work closely with students to address social-emotional and behavioral challenges, implementing strategies outlined in individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff: Coordinate efforts with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to create a supportive and integrated approach to student care.
- Implement behavior interventions: Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students in managing behaviors, and promoting positive coping skills and self-regulation.
- Document and communicate progress: Maintain accurate records of interventions, collect data on student behavior, and communicate regularly with the school team, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings: Attend and actively contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, case conferences, and other relevant team discussions.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Experience: Prior experience working with children or adolescents in a school or therapeutic setting is preferred.
- Background Checks, up-to-date FBI and state clearances (or willing to obtain).
