SalaryWe're looking for an experienced sales professional with a background in Textbook Sales who can work with us remotely in a freelance or independent contractor capacity (hourly plus commission) for our Publishing division – currently focusing on games and technology.
Work/Skills:
- Expand current list of potential customers – universities, school districts, instructors, department chairs, and bookstores.
- Reach out to potential leads via email and phone.
- Conduct ongoing followup communication with leads and close adoption deals.
Desired Characteristics:
- Previous successful Textbook Sales experience (5 years).
- Comfortable with outreach via phone and email.
- Dedication to meeting project deadlines and sales goals in a timely manner.
- Strong time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of game and technology industries a plus.
- Bonus: Experience communicating with existing customers (post-sales).

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Sales: 5 years (Required)
- Textbook Sales: 5 years (Required)
- Book Sales: 5 years (Required)
