We are currently looking for a Testing Technician to Perform design verification and process validation testing on a variety of medical devices . We are willing to train candidates who are interested in working for a company that truly makes a difference.
- Perform design verification and process validation testing on a variety of medical devices.
- Read understand and execute on protocols for test set up, execution, documentation, breakdown, and cleaning.
- Meticulously record data, deviations, identified issues, and communicate effectively with study leader.
- Use effective time management to meet critical testing deadlines and support company initiatives.
- Organize and maintain testing facility, environment, and equipment as necessary.
- Contribute to development of new test fixtures, test methods, and test method validations (TMV).
- Assist with installation and qualification of new equipment.
- High School or equivalent education required; Associates degree or higher in relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum 2yrs experience performing testing in laboratory setting; experience in medical device industry is preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken fluency in the English language.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and have good organizational skills
- Familiar with use and application of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Strong commitment to laboratory safety and adherence to protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting experiments and recording data.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment, instruments, and tools; Experience using Instron testing systems and LabView is a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft office (MS Word, MS Excel) required
