Job Description
Anoka-Ramsey Community College is an open-door, comprehensive higher education institution committed to excellence in teaching and learning. This position exists to assist with the coordination of testing services and administer multiple types of tests and assessments to students at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. This includes placement testing, instructor-arranged testing, testing accommodations for students with disabilities, TEAS testing, proctoring exams for other institutions, collaboration with high school programs, local businesses, and any special testing needed by the Academic Affairs and/or Student Affairs departments of the college. This position provides administrative assistance and completes special projects for the Director of Academic & Support Services.
This is a full-time, temporary assignment working up to one year. This position will be located on the Cambridge campus.
Required Qualifications
  • Customer Service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information regarding the testing center's policies and procedures to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail, and to schedule and confirm customers' appointments.
  • Word Processing skills sufficient to produce forms, memoranda and other materials that are grammatically correct using Microsoft Word or equivalent software.
  • Spreadsheet skills sufficient to develop and modify electronic spreadsheets and to compile, store, and retrieve data in order to prepare a variety of reports using software such as Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Ability to analyze, make recommendations, and develop new or revised administrative and program practices and procedures for smooth and efficient office operation.
  • Knowledge of testing and assessment functions, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning/growth.

Other Requirements
NOTICE: In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business, whether using a rental or state vehicle, shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
