SiSTEM Tutoring Agency is looking for qualified tutors that can tutor in a face-to-face environment or in a virtual environment as well. You MUST be able to work in-person and commute 1 to 10 miles from your home or location and/or you MUST have the ability to tutor virtually. For in-person tutoring, we are PRIMARILY looking for tutors in the following cities and surrounding suburbs:

• Houston, Texas
• Dallas, Texas
• Fort Worth, Texas
• Austin, Texas
• San Antonio, Texas
• El Paso, Texas

Here are the subjects that are currently in demand:

• GED
• SAT/PSAT
• ACT
• GRE
• GMAT
• MCAT
• PCAT
• DAT
• OAT
• NCLEX

Here are the responsibilities as a SiSTEM Tutor:

• You will set your availability based on your schedule. Note: you are welcome to work before school hours, during school hours, after school hours, weekends and holidays
• You will receive tutoring requests from students and parents for your services; or SiSTEM will match you with students based on you and the students preferences
• You MUST be able to tutor in-person in the student's home, a library, a coffee shop, at school, or office. Note: in-person tutoring must be a public place
• In the event that virtual tutoring is needed, you should be able to tutor virtually as well.
• You will work with students in a 1-to-1 environment
• You will be paid $30/hr - $45/hr (DOE) weekly on Fridays via direct deposit.
• You can use our in-house curricular resources if you wish

SiSTEM Tutoring Agency Qualifications & Requirements

ALL SiSTEM tutors must be any of these:

• A student teacher with at least 60 hours of college credit
• A college student with at least 60 hours of college credit
• A college graduate (Associates, Bachelor's, Master's degree holder)
• A certified teacher
• A retired teacher

And ALL SiSTEM Tutors MUST:

• Be eligible to work in the United States of America and have the documentation to prove it
• Have a minimum of 2 years tutoring or teaching
• Have expertise in GED, SAT/PSAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, PCAT, MCAT, DAT, OAT, NCLEX
• Commit to tutoring for the entire 2023 year
• Have reliable transportation and be able to attend in-person tutoring sessions in a timely and consistent manner
• Have reliable technology and WiFi to administer virtual tutoring sessions with ease
• Have a selfless commitment to making a difference in students' lives
• Be able to work with 1 student at a time
• Be able to pass a background check
• Great interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt and relate to students from diverse backgrounds
• If you are bilingual that is a MAJOR plus!
