Test Operator (Level Ii)

Job Title: Test Operator (Level II)

Reports to: Test Department Supervisor

Direct Reports: None

Classification: Full-Time

FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Work Location: Assigned facility.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday - Day Shift

Summary: Functionally test and pre-program RF technology circuit board assemblies within strict and defined test parameters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Program and Pre-Test circuit board assemblies.
• Perform Final test on completed units in its plastic and metal housings.
• May be required to load completed units into burn-in test rack.
• Troubleshooting failed units is a plus.

Education:

• High School Diploma, or GED required. An associate degree in Electronics Technology discipline is a plus. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Team player, detail oriented with mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills along with PC experience in an MS Windows environment.
• Prior experience in electronic assembly and testing is a plus.
• Prior experience with IPC and ISO standards is a plus.

Working Condition:

• Must be able to withstand changes in temperatures and lift 20-30 lbs.
