Test Center Monitor

Job Title: Monitor

Duties:
- Supervise and monitor students in various settings, such as classrooms, hallways, and lunchrooms
- Ensure student safety and maintain a positive learning environment
- Enforce school rules and policies
- Respond to student behavior issues and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
- Assist with student attendance and record keeping

Skills:
- Adult education: Ability to work with adult learners in an educational setting
- Classroom management: Experience in managing student behavior and maintaining a productive learning environment
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff
- Experience working with students: Previous experience working with students in an educational or youth development setting
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
- Educate: Ability to provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth

This position requires a high level of responsibility, patience, and the ability to work well with diverse groups of students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Please note that this is not a teaching position. The primary role of the Monitor is to ensure student safety and support the overall functioning of the school.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
