Energy Completion Services, LLC (ECS) provides onshore wireline pressure control equipment and Test and Torque services for the oil & gas industry. ECS is centrally located, supplying the safest and most dependable equipment needed. As the nation's largest supplier of hydraulic latch assemblies (HLAs), as well as our wireline equipment offering, the company has worked with the top oil & gas operators across nearly every shale basin.
The Test and Torque Operator will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of oil field equipment, maintaining well locations, and performing various tasks associated with the efficient and safe operation required for wellsite wireline intervention. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, Company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with all operations at well sites and in the shop
- Travel to and from customer job sites, ensure team members and / or equipment are ready at scheduled time; keep tasks on track per client timeline
- Perform static torque checks and report torque & test failures
- Clean, maintain, diagnose, and perform on-site repairs to tools and equipment
- Track, record, and monitor bolting tension and torquing hydro testing
- Perform daily inspections, identify potential hazards, and report any equipment defects or damage to leadership
- Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications
- May operate forklift and manlift
- May drive Company vehicles as requested by leadership
- Maintain records for the overall operation to include job safety analysis forms, job tickets, and assigned equipment
- May assist with loading items and equipment required for jobs and inspect for accuracy
- Maintain open communication with operations, leadership, and customers
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness
- Adherence to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and HSE regulations, Company safety guidelines, and industry standards
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a test & Torque Operator or similar position
- Must be willing to travel out of state and able to work extended hours as job demands
- Valid state issued driver's license
- Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
