We are a well-established distributor of Commercial, Residential building materials and home improvement who is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join their team. The Territory/Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for calling on contractors and pursuing residential, commercial and multi-family projects. The products represented by you, as our Territory Representative will include building materials such as cabinets, doors, shower doors, vanities, and other related products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Promote and sell building materials and related products to contractors, builders, architects, and other clients
• Accustomed to working with high-end products and client purchases.
• Working with longer transaction cycles (15 to 60/90 days), continued relationship building
• Identify new sales opportunities and work to expand the company's customer base
• Provide product information, pricing, and delivery information to customers
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers
• Conduct on-site visits to customers and job sites to assess needs and offer solutions
• Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
• Submit timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts
• Participate in trade shows, contractor appreciation events and other marketing events as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the building materials industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Benefits:

• Competitive base salary of $65K-70K, based on experience, plus uncapped commission. (Average 80K to 120K additional)
