Coming off our biggest growth year ever, 2024 is set to be huge for us and we are needing a Sales and Account Manager to help continue our growth. Working from home, the ideal candidate must be experienced in sales and account management, possess a high degree of autonomy, ability to solve complex challenges and think strategically all while being passionate about Sylvia P’s mission and match the energy of our dynamic team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position your primary role will be to service and continue relationships with existing accounts in your assigned territory while curating new clients through sales calls and strategic sales initiatives. The Territory Sales Representative will report directly to our National Sales Manager.
Sales Representative
- Represent our company’s products, starting with a deep and comprehensive product understanding and identifying how our solutions meet their needs
- Identify appropriate prospects, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the design and sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and competitor monitoring.
- Meet or exceed all monthly sales targets
Relationship Management
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Assist customers with ordering, designs, product support, marketing support as needed
- Clearly communicate company procedures and processes while qualifying and servicing accounts
- Communicate sales and promotional initiatives to existing and potential clients
- Navigate and solve client complaints within company protocols and guidelines
Other
- Ability to travel at up to 15% of the time to events or customer meetings
- Identify promotional activities and partnerships and report to National Sales Manager.
Location
- To be based from home, ideally in Minnesota or neighbouring states.
ABOUT YOU
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales/account management role within the apparel/footwear industry
- Understanding of the sport of gymnastics is ideal but not essential
- Bachelors Degree or will consider candidates with 7+ years of account management experience instead of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including professional phone manner
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and Word
- Experience with Zoho CRM and Shopify is ideal but not essential
- Exceptional time management and follow up skills
- Innovative thinker with ability to complex problem solve, and identify process improvements
- Ability to work independently while producing tangible results
- Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual to drive sales growth and meet targets
- Ability to work in a team setting and adopting to daily needs.

DETAILS
- Job: Full Time with salary
- Salary Range: From $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
- Schedule: Mon- Fri. Occasional weekends for sales events.
