Job Description:
LongLeaf Truss is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to spearhead sales initiatives and foster strategic partnerships within the construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from suppliers to contractors, leveraging your sales expertise to drive revenue and expand our clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with Building Suppliers, Local Contractors, Commercial Contractors, Track Home Builders, and Construction Vendors to establish and nurture business relationships.
- Initiate effective marketing and outreach campaigns, employing various strategies such as cold calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings to generate leads and broaden our market reach.
- Conduct thorough on-site meetings for measurement purposes and to assess project requirements accurately.
- Facilitate the seamless submission of orders, including building plans, to the design estimating team, ensuring precision and completeness of documentation.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of submitted bids and contracts, from initiation to collection, while maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients.
- Manage payment collection and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and managing change orders efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Existing network within the construction industry, demonstrating successful relationship-building skills is preferred.
- Proven track record in sales with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in double-checking and validating numbers, costs, take-offs, and estimations.
- Familiarity with design software such as MiTek, Alpine, etc. (preferred).
- Experience in measuring foundations and adeptness in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Proficiency in general computer skills including plans software, Adobe, communication tools, and Microsoft applications.
