ABOUT
Relentless Trade Solutions works hand-in-hand with new and emerging beverages and foods. Our Merchandising Specialists are our ambassadors to retail customers and work with local stores to ensure that L.A. Libations products are available and well-stocked in a desirable location/locations within the outlet.
THE JOB
Acting as the eyes and ears of the brands you will be instrumental in aiding the brand with their in-store growth and problem solving on behalf of the brand’s priorities. You will work hand-in-hand with our people and the technology we utilize to visit grocery stores to implement and keep in line the brands’ priorities and promotions.
As a Territory Merchandising Specialist, your job will entail five main components: Merchandising, Problem-Solving, Data Entry, Sales, and Relationship Building.
Merchandising: You will ensure that the shelves are properly maintained according to the brands’ guidelines. For example, rotating products, putting up coupons etc. Additionally, you will utilize Repsly to report on the brand's status and condition in-store.
Problem-Solving: On occasion you’ll run into problems in the stores you visit. For example, we’ll identify that product isn’t coming in and it will be up to us to work with the store to figure out why the product isn’t coming in and then relay this information to the brands. Additionally, the brands rely on us to provide them with constructive and tactful feedback to aid them in solving in-store issues like determining why sales are low on a certain product. Using your expertise and creative thinking you will aid them with problem solving.
Data Entry: Utilizing Repsly you will accurately fill out the prompts on the forms. Questions on the forms include before/after pictures, taking count of out of stock and out of code products, and notating additional details about any problems or positives regarding the brand in-store.
Sales: It is our job to increase the brand's footprint in-store when we can. In order to do this you will focus on strategic placement improvement. For example, getting sparkling water placed in a cooler or creating a creative lobby display.
Relationship Building: We work with new and emerging beverages and foods that will often be unknown to store personnel. It’s up to us to ensure stores are informed about the brands’ mission and the products the brands offer. It’s our goal to create friendly, communicative and respectful working relationships with in-store personnel as we are they’re first impressions of the brands we represent.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED - preferred
Must possess smartphone with reliable phone plan and reliable transportation - required
1-3 years of industry-related work experience - preferred, but not required
Must be able to use personal vehicle during business hours
Experience working with minimal supervision at a customer location
Prior grocery store/ consumer products/ retail experience preferred
Valid driver's license and current insurance card and driving record within policy guidelines
