Heavy Equipment Sales & Rentals; Territory Manager in Utah county for John Deere C&F and Wirtgen Group
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for managing an assigned geographic territory that includes an assigned list of customers by executing a daily/weekly plan.
- Maintain relationships with current customers and prospects to grow sales and rental revenue; and market share.
- Responsible for market awareness and participation.
To include:
- Account classifications
- UCC1 Awareness
- Utilization of EDA mobile App
- Transaction pricing reporting for won and lost sales
- Awareness of competitive activity, products and offers
- Responsible for developing and maintaining monthly sales quote log/activity.
- Create and monitor active and expired quotes
- Presenting professional rental and sales quotes/proposals to customers
- Responsible for developing and closing all proposals and required documentation for invoicing
- Responsible for maintaining weekly call reports in the CRM database and setting appointments with key customer contacts.
Customer contacts to include:
o In person visits at customer office, yard or jobsite
o Phone calls
o Coordinating customer meetings to include meals and attending various industry events
- Responsible for qualifying, coordinating and managing all machine demos/rentals. This includes completing all required documentation for invoicing.
- Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with product offerings and market activity.
- Responsible for mutually setting annual TM sales and rental goals with Region Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- 5+ years of industry experience required, sales preferred
- Some college coursework or additional industry experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor 's degree
- Completion of C & F Sales Certification-Level 1, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Intermediate computer and application skills required
- Machine operation and application experience• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, self-motivation, organizational, and strong communication skills required
- Basic finance and general business acumen
TRAVEL: Local, in the field, customer sales calls
Physical Effort: Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 75 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
