The Terrain ParksHand Crew team member is responsible for maintaining the features within our parks to the highest standard of quality and safety. The Hand Crew maintains our Terrain Park features using a number of hand tools, tests features, and is an ambassador for the resort. This individual skis/snowboards at a general level, works independently with minimal need of oversight to achieve excellent results, and holds safety as the highest priority.
Our Terrain Parks are essential to our brand and we wouldn't be able to do it without our Hand Crew. This team is responsible for the continued upkeep and manicuring needed to provide an incredible product. This requires an attention to detail and a desire to be out on the mountain, taking laps in our park, and interacting with our guests. With that said, no task is too small as working on Donner Summit means we all pick up a shovel, bump chairs, and pitch in all aspects of resort operations no matter our title or pay grade.

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Terrain Park Hand Crewmember:
- Maintains park features using rakes, shovels, and other hand tools.
- Installs and maintains Terrain Park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing, and banners.
- Tests features for quality control within skill level.
- Interacts with our guests and employees in a professional manner.
- Collaborates to produce Terrain Park special events.
- Coordinates and supports team in off-hill responsibilities.
- Acts as an ambassador for the resort and safe practices both on and off-hill.
- Understands, communicates, and is a role model for the user responsibility code.
- Takes direction and translates effectively to daily responsibilities.
What We're Looking For:
- Has at least a moderate knowledge of Terrain Parks.
- Has a strong sense of safe practices and the user responsibility code.
- Individuals who elevate and contribute positively to a team dynamic.
- Able to ski/snowboard at a proficient level while carrying tools needed for the job.
- Able to work in all weather for extended periods of time and achieve excellent results.
- Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
