Terrain Park Attendant
JOB OVERVIEW
This position is a part-time Terrain Park Attendant job. The Terrain Park Attendant will participate in the daily operation of the Hoedown Hill Terrain Park; monitoring, inspecting, evaluating and upkeep of all terrain features. They are responsible for positive guest relations, achievement of safety goals and general support duties for the day-to-day operations of Hoedown Hill activities.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Commitment to providing a safe experience for our guests and team members by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
  • Learn, perform and train job tasks for all activities on Hoedown Hill
  • Consistently express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while effectively providing guests and fellow employees with assistance, information, and directions
  • Understanding of LOTO awareness
  • Working knowledge of conveyor lift
  • Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and Terrain Park Lead
  • Report potential safety hazards to Terrain Park Lead and Snow Surfaces Manager
  • Provide exceptional guest experience: From operating activities to answering questions and helping guests navigate the experiences safely
  • Always maintain positive guest relations, resolve any guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments as needed
  • Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Install and maintain Terrain Park hill signage, closures, lane markings, fencing and banner tape
  • Monitor terrain in the Terrain Park by visual inspection and testing according to company policy
  • Maintain ongoing monitoring and maintenance of Terrain Park and equipment
  • Terrain Park guest traffic control and safety monitoring
  • Assist with special events and large groups
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills / Knowledge Required:
  • First Aid/ CPR desirable
  • Basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems and safety issues and ability to execute resolutions
  • Ski/snowboarding ability required
  • Able to work irregular hours and to maintain a high level of caution and situational awareness while performing duties
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
On-Hill Environment:
  • The primary physical environment in which this position works is outdoors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, and rain.
  • The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high. Often lifting a weight of 25+ pounds throughout the day is common.
  • Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking upon uneven, challenging terrain with equipment.
Expected Pay Range: $16-$18 per hour
Shift type: Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays
