SalaryPosition Summary The Tennis Center Attendant provides essential support within the Tennis Department, offering exceptional service to members and assisting with the tennis program's administrative aspects. This role is central to enhancing the member’s experience through professional, courteous service and efficient operation of the Tennis Shop.
Reporting Relationship: Director of Racquets
Work Performed
- Deliver prompt and courteous service to members inline with the Club’s standards of excellence.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of tennis programs, events, and equipment to assist members effectively.
- Ensure the Tennis Center environment is welcoming, clean, and well-organized.
- Assist with court preparation and maintenance as needed, especially during inclement weather.
- Handle telephone communications, message logging, and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries.
Minimum Requirements for Position:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a professional demeanor.
- Computer proficiency and organizational skills.
- Availability to work weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of performing light physical activities, including standing for extended periods, walking across club facilities, and occasional lifting of merchandise or equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as racket stringing, merchandise arrangement, and use of computer systems.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
