Immediate opening for an independent contractor in the Sacramento, California area to teach private and group lessons part-time on weekdays and weekends to children and adults. Additional opportunities include stringing, running after school tennis programs, tournaments, and camps.
Position requires the following:
Minimum 1 year commitment
Valid California drivers license
Reliable transportation
Personal liability insurance
FBI/DOJ background checks
CPR/First Aid certification
USTA Safe Play certification
Ideal candidate is PTR and or USPTA certified or on the path to certification. 4.0 USTA rating or higher. College and professional experience a plus but not necessary. Candidate must be eager, self motivated, hard working, organized, a good communicator, professional, patient, positive, honest, punctual, reliable, fun, and above all safe.
Pay: If the above qualifications are met one can expect the following compensation: $30-$40 hour private lessons, $40-$50 an hour semi-private lessons, $45-$55 an hour group lessons, $25-$35 an hour summer camp.
