New England Golf and Tennis Camp is looking for current College Tennis Players or Tennis Coaches to join our amazing team for the summer job of a lifetime!
As a Counselor and Tennis Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our exceptional tennis program. Collaborating closely with our team of experienced tennis professionals, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and mentor campers, nurturing their passion for the game and aiding them in honing their skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for college tennis enthusiasts to share their love for the sport, gain valuable coaching experience, and embark on an unforgettable summer adventure.
About Us
New England Golf and Tennis Camp, nestled on the shores of the pristine Salmon Lake in Belgrade, Maine, is a co-ed camp catering to ages 7 to 17. Our distinctive program seamlessly integrates the professional focus of a junior golf camp and tennis specialty camp with the camaraderie and joy of a traditional Maine overnight Summer Camp. Spanning across our picturesque 60-acre site, we boast an array of hard-surface and clay tennis courts alongside facilities for over twenty other activities.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our tennis professionals to plan and execute tennis lessons and clinics.
- Provide personalized instruction to campers based on their skill levels.
- Supervise and engage campers during tennis activities, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating tennis tournaments and events.
- Act as a mentor and role model for campers, fostering sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Outside of activity time, you’ll have the opportunity to supervise and mentor group of 6 to 10 campers alongside 2 to 3 co-counselors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A strong interest and background in tennis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Passion for coaching and mentoring young individuals.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for campers.
